This artwork depicts the journey travelled on country. The lines form together to show the journey lines of that journey. The arch shaped symbols represent the people.
As the lines weave and flow across the canvas, they speak to the way our paths cross, shift and reconnect over time. Each mark carries the memory of movement — the places we’ve walked, the lessons we’ve been given, and the guidance we receive from those who walked before us.
The people symbols remind us that no journey is taken alone; every step is supported, witnessed and strengthened by the presence of our mob.
Together, these elements come together to honour the way country shapes us, teaches us and walks with us as we continue our journey forward.
